Standing... leads to walking

I think what makes babies so much fun is that they are always doing something for the first time. We have had a first smile, laugh, crawl, word and many other first that we probably don't even realize. It is amazing how quick they learn and master a new skill and how it becomes a regular part of their life once they start doing it. This week MaKenna has begun pulling herself up and standing. It happened for the first time Sunday night in her crib. MaKenna decided that she didn't want to go the bed yet and crawled to the bars and stood up in defiance of bedtime. It was cute and she got to stay up awhile longer as a result. On Monday morning she crawled over to our bay widow and pulled herself up and looked out the window for at least 10 minutes. We have reached another milestone and the reality is this will eventually lead to walking...
