And she smiled at me...

Seeing your baby for the first time is such an exciting and memorable moment.  You see what they look like and you count their fingers and toes.  However, it is all so crazy and exciting that it doesn't exactly seem real, it's more like your watching it happen as oppose to actually being there.  The moment that will live in my mind as clearly as it happened forever is the first time baby MaKenna smiled at me.  She has smiled a few times on accident or just because.  But last night she was looking at me and "talking to me".  I was reading her a book and I looked into her eyes and she smiled at me.  The way that smile warmed my heart must be the love only a father can have for his child.  It was one of the most amazing moments of my life and I will chisel in my heart forever.
