Baby Klepper

We are proud to introduce our daughter MaKenna to all of our friends and family. On December 14 Michelle went into labor about 4 am. At about 6:30 am labor began progressing and Michelle woke me up to keep her company. By 9 am we were on our way to the hospital (after shoveling 6 inches of fresh snow). Michelle was so calm and we were so relaxed they didn't believe Michelle was actually in labor. After a pelvic exam when the Dr. discovered that Michelle was dilated 5 cm it was indeed believed that active labor was upon us. After several hours labor became more intense and Michelle received an epidural around 3 pm (what a miracle drug!). After several more hours of increasing labor Michelle began to push around 8 pm. At 9:02 Pm the final heroic push was given and MaKenna came to join us. She is a feisty 7lb 7oz and 20.5 inches long and of course we think she is quite beautiful! What a miracle! Wow!! Finally she's there - couldn't wait actually and refreshed this browser window about every other hour...

She's so lovely, looks like the perfect little baby girl. You guys must feel like heaven now - try to enjoy every minute of these wonderful, blissful first days with your new baby. It goes by very fast so suck it all in to cherish these memories in the years to come.

We are so happy for you and hope you all feel well. Michelle - all the best for you and take very good care of yourself now. You will be much needed from now on!

Lots of love to the new little family!
