Boot Camp For Dads

Saturday I had the opportunity to attend a "Boot Camp" for new Dads.  The purpose of the class is to introduce dads, to be, to ideas and concepts that would likely come as a surprise after baby arrives.  I found this class very helpful in preparing myself for fatherhood and raising our baby girl along side of Michelle.  This class gave me a lot to think about and discuss with Michelle potential issues that could cause conflict between us.  It is great that Michelle and I can discuss and make compromise and find good solutions to potential conflict.  This too is an important topic in the class because a strong marriage and family is critical in raising children.  I also learned bonding techniques, basic care (for baby and Michelle), and common ways to calm a crying baby.  I would recommend this class to all new dads to be!
