High Hopes

Painted... Assembled... High hopes and perhaps overachieving!  We aren't even 1/2 way through our pregnancy and we are pretty close to being able to bring our baby home.  We have a crib assembled, a nursery painted, changing table, clothes, accessories, toys.... We have all the answers and we don't even know what the questions are yet (fortunately, we are well aware of our ignorance).  We have high hopes of what it means to be parents, yet we realize that our world is going to be turned upside down.  Our simple life will be changing and our hopes and dreams are shifting from ourselves to our own growing family.  We want to provide the best we can for our baby and we are so eager to make everything just right before the arrival.  We have high hopes for a perfect life for a perfect child yet in a fallen world this is an unobtainable goal. Nevertheless, we aim to do the best we can hoping and praying we have the wisdom to be godly, wise, compassionate, just, and overall good parents.  So we paint, assemble, pray, and aim high to enjoy the blessings of God for our enjoyment and his eternal glory.

No doubt your preparations and prayers will put you ahead of the game, so to speak. And if all else fails, call your Mama and Aunt Pat. We love you guys bunches and are praying for the safe arrival of baby Klepper and Michelle's continuing health!

Happy 4th of July!
Mama (Cindy) and Aunt Pat
